Senior Services - Driver at JSSA

JSSA has an immediate opening for a part-time driver to assist with client transportation throughout Montgomery County, MD, with limited transportation to Fairfax County, VA and Washington, DC. For more than 20 years, JSSA has provided frail seniors and people with disabilities safe and reliable door-through-door transportation to necessary appointments, helping them maintain mobility and independence. Responsibilities: • Provide escorted transportation for clients to doctors' appointments, recreational activities, and therapy appointments • Assist clients who require the use of a wheelchair and wheelchair-accessible vans • Deliver exemplary and proactive customer service to older adults Qualifications: • Knowledgeable about the metro area and able to navigate heavy traffic areas • Valid driver's license with no significant restrictions • Proof of auto insurance and an excellent driving record • Enjoys interacting with seniors and is comfortable assisting clients using wheelchairs **Schedule:** Flexible — this position does not require a set number of hours per week. **Pay:** $20/hour.
