About the Role

You will build real, working AI and automation tools that solve actual business problems — not just test projects.

You will work closely with our internal team, taking on challenges from different clients and industries, and turning them into secure, reliable software using AI, code, APIs, automation, databases, and business platforms.

We're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on building, is excited about new AI tools, and also cares about doing things the right way — reliable, secure, and easy to maintain.

What You'll Do

- Build AI workflows that use business data and tools to complete multi-step tasks and handle exceptions correctly.

- Build AI-powered business tools that combine AI reasoning with clear business rules, human approval steps, and safety checks.

- Build automations, integrations, and internal tools for CRM, finance, operations, communication, and other business systems.

- Build reliable AI workflows using AI models, structured outputs, search/retrieval, and human review when needed.

- Build secure integrations using APIs, webhooks, logins/authentication, and background automation.

- Test how the AI behaves and improve it with proper safety checks, monitoring, and error handling.

- Fix issues with AI workflows, unexpected results, data syncing, bugs, and performance problems.

- Take a project from idea to finished product — building, testing, launching, documenting, and improving it over time.

What We're Looking For

We care more about your skills and experience than your job title.

5+ years of software development experience is a plus, but strong hands-on ability matters more than years on paper.

- Real experience building software, automations, integrations, or AI tools that work with actual business data.

- Strong skills in Python or another modern programming language for backend development.

- Experience with APIs, webhooks, logins/authentication, outside systems, databases, and reliable data handling.

- Real experience using AI/LLM tools to build reliable workflows, including structured outputs and search/retrieval.

- Ability to test AI results, find problems, fix bugs, and improve reliability — not just trust whatever the AI outputs.

- Good judgment about when to use AI versus regular code or automation, and how to combine them well.

- Able to work independently, communicate clearly, and work well with managers, analysts, and other developers.

- Comfortable working with unclear or changing requirements, asking good questions, and moving work forward without delays.

- Able to work in office at our Montebello, NY location.

''Nice to Have''

- Experience building AI tools ("agents") that take actions, manage steps, and handle multi-step tasks on their own.

- Experience with AI tool frameworks, vector databases, or search tools (RAG).

- Experience with Zoho or similar business software platforms.

- Experience with SQL, cloud platforms, Git, testing, and other development tools.
