Job Overview:
At LINKS, you will play a key role in attracting and hiring top talent to meet the staffing needs of our organization and the organizations we partner with. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to coordinating job offers and initiating the onboarding processes.
Job Summary:
The HR Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting qualified candidates to fill job openings within the organization. This role involves managing the full recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience and alignment with organizational needs. The Recruiter works closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements, attract top talent, and facilitate smooth interviews and hiring processes. A key aspect of this role is building a strong pipeline of candidates, maintaining accurate candidate records, and ensuring compliance with recruitment best practices and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition: Source, screen, and interview candidates for various roles within the company, utilizing job boards, social media platforms, and other channels to build a strong candidate pipeline. Establish partnerships with universities and recruitment agencies to ensure a continuous pipeline of candidates.
Marketing: To meet objectives and reach diverse candidates, participate in hiring events, community gatherings, business meetings, and public spaces to advertise job openings and locate strong applicants. As needed, review and adjust strategies to achieve desired results.
Job Postings: Create, post, and manage job advertisements across multiple platforms, ensuring the roles are visible to the right talent.
Interviewing: Conduct initial screenings and interviews, assess candidates’ qualifications, and recommend suitable candidates for further interviews with hiring managers.
Collaboration: Work closely with department supervisors and the Human Resources Department to understand job requirements and organizational needs, providing advice on candidate selection and market trends.
Candidate Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience with no lapse in communication.
Onboarding Support: Assist with the initial onboarding process, ensuring all necessary information and required documentation, including offer letters, resumes, and pertinent interview details, and required reference checks are obtained and updated for company records.
Data Management & Scheduling: Maintain candidate information and interview logs that are accurate and current. As required, coordinate and schedule Zoom interviews for yourself and follow-up interviews with department supervisors to meet hiring objectives.
Compliance: Ensure all hiring practices are compliant with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards and adapt accordingly as standards change.
Reporting: Provide regular updates and recruitment reports to department supervisors, tracking progress against hiring goals, role conditions, and timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar talent acquisition role.
Knowledge of labor laws and recruitment best practices.
Strong understanding of recruitment techniques, including sourcing, interviewing, and evaluating candidates based on known facts.
Experience in Recruitment and Job Interviewing
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to understand English. Multilingual skills are also welcome.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels.
Ability to assess candidates’ qualifications, fit, and potential for success and make hiring determinations based on candidates’ factors that are ethical, non-discriminatory and appropriate for the role.
Proficient in Microsoft 365, with the willingness to learn HR software and other systems as needed.
High attention to detail and organizational skills, to manage and coordinate effectively between multiple job postings, candidates, and other job responsibilities.
Ability and willingness to learn about the industry and associated organizational structures to improve personal understanding of qualified candidates.
Educational Qualifications:
Highschool Diploma/GED required.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
