Job description

Responsibilities
Administer federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs in compliance with all applicable regulations, including Title IV requirements
Ensure adherence to policies set forth by the US Department of Education and other regulatory bodies
Student packaging, awarding, verification, and disbursement processes
Monitor regulatory changes and implement operational updates to maintain compliance
Provide comprehensive financial aid counseling to prospective and current students and families
Guide students through FAFSA completion, verification requirements, and funding options
Resolve complex financial aid issues with a high level of professionalism and responsiveness
Utilize and maintain student information systems to ensure accurate processing and reporting
Performs exit interviews and loan counseling to students upon graduation
Qualifications
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 3+ years of financial aid experience in higher education
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and regulatory accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to student service and institutional mission.
Travel
Locally as needed for staff coverage
May be required to travel overnight for training
Maximum Salary
USD $62,843.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary
USD $50,274.00/Yr.
