Chief Clinical Officer / Chief of Clinical Services
Location: Remote | 1 Day/Week in Spring Valley, NY
Schedule: Full-Time
Compensation: $180K–$230K DOE
The Opportunity
A growing healthcare organization is looking for a senior clinical executive to take ownership of its clinical division and help drive the organization forward. This individual will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership, providing both strategic direction and strong clinical oversight.
This position is ideal for someone who understands the OPWDD environment at a high level, has led clinical departments, and knows how to turn clinical goals into effective systems, processes, and measurable results.
What You'll Lead
- Overall clinical strategy, operations, and performance.
- Clinical leadership teams and departmental accountability.
- Quality improvement, risk management, and incident oversight.
- Development and implementation of clinical policies and best practices.
- Regulatory compliance, including OPWDD and Medicaid requirements.
- Clinical performance metrics, outcomes, and improvement initiatives.
- Relationships with OPWDD, government agencies, healthcare partners, and other external organizations.
- Strategic clinical initiatives supporting organizational growth and expansion.
What We're Looking For
- Current NYS clinical license required — RN, LCSW, LMHC, NP, Psychologist, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of progressive clinical leadership experience.
- Extensive OPWDD experience is a must.
- Strong understanding of clinical quality, compliance, incident management, and healthcare operations.
- Proven ability to lead multiple clinical functions and senior-level staff.
- Strong executive presence with excellent judgment, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work strategically while still understanding the day-to-day realities of clinical operations.
