About Us
We're a creative consultancy. That means we put creativity at the center of all our thinking—be it strategic consulting, design and advertising or product and service design. If you believe in the power of creativity to transform how people think and behave, you're in the right place.
The Role:
Leo Toronto is looking for a curious, ambitious, and culturally connected Junior Strategist to join our Strategy team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is passionate about understanding people, brands, and culture. You'll work alongside experienced strategists, creatives, and business leads to help uncover insights, shape strategic thinking, and contribute to the development of breakthrough creative ideas. You are someone who asks great questions, loves digging into research, spots cultural trends before others do, and believes that creativity can solve real business problems.
Responsibilities
How You Create Impact — Key Responsibilities
Support qualitative and quantitative research to uncover consumer, category, and cultural insights.
Support the development of audience profiles, trend reports, competitive audits, and market analyses.
Monitor cultural conversations, emerging behaviours, and media trends to identify opportunities for brands.
Help transform research findings into actionable insights that inspire creative thinking.
Support strategists in developing communications and brand strategies across a variety of clients.
Assist in reviewing client briefs and identifying the underlying business and communications challenges.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and strategic workshops.
Evaluate creative work against the agreed strategy and provide thoughtful feedback.
Champion the consumer perspective in conversations and presentations.
Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and workshop materials.
Contribute to internal and client-facing strategic documents.
Support the team in presenting findings and recommendations with clarity and confidence.
Share interesting trends, articles, case studies, and inspiration with the broader team.
Qualifications
The Knowledge and Experience You Bring
0-2 years of experience in strategy, marketing, research, communications, consulting, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to synthesize information and identify meaningful patterns.
Proficiency with PowerPoint and Microsoft Office tools.
Experience with research platforms, social listening tools, or analytics tools is considered an asset.
Why This Role Matters
Our work is world-class — now we need the world to see it. This role will help Leo Toronto amplify its creative reputation, strengthen its industry presence, and build the momentum that drives awards, growth and long-term cultural impact.
