1st shift Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm, Friday 9am-2pm

Job Overview: The Security Front Desk Receptionist 3 is a key role responsible for upholding the highest standards of professionalism and security of the facilities’ main entrance while providing administrative support to the Security Department. This position requires a meticulous verification process to ensure that only authorized individuals are granted access. Duties include issuing temporary badges and vests, validating identification and status through internal systems, monitoring CCTV systems, and collaborating closely with Human Resources and security teams. This role demands timely and predictable attendance to prevent any lapse in security coverage, ensuring a secure and professional environment for all employees, visitors, and contractors.

Essential Responsibilities:

Control access to the Main Entrance

Access control by utilizing Aurora (badge system)

Issue temporary badges and vests by verifying all credentials through internal systems

CCTV Surveillance

Jira Investigations

Communicate with Human Resources on arrivals of visitors, vendors, contractors, and employees.

Documenting, reporting, and running daily audits.

Assign temporary visitor labels

Report discrepancies as required.

Communicate with security supervisors

Be accurate in all data entry.

Proficient ability to communicate using the English language, both verbal and written

Organization with attention to detail.

Ability to understand the need for and improve your efficiency in daily tasks.

Ability to understand and remember instructions.

Additional Responsibilities:  As Assigned by your manager or supervisor

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Highly Proficient in all Microsoft products; with a strong emphasis in excel and outlook.

Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn internal verification systems.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Excellent customer service skills.

Able to work well with others, follow rules, and enforce security policy.

Diligent in taking directions and following protocol.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentially.

Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:

High School Diploma

Bilingual (Spanish)

Preferred 5-year experience in security, customer service or administrative role.

Physical Environment/Occupational Risks

This position may require standing for extended periods.

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required.
