Donor Engagement & Development Associate

Position Overview
Belev Echad is looking for a driven, people-first storyteller to join our development team as our next Donor Engagement & Development Associate. This is a front-row seat to some of the most meaningful relationship-building work in the nonprofit world. You'll be the one that connects our donors and the soldiers whose lives they're changing, turning generosity into lasting relationships and one-time gifts into lifelong champions of the Belev Echad mission.

Key Responsibilities

Donor Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of donors ensuring consistent outreach, appreciation, and engagement.
Donor Stewardship: Work closely with the fundraising team to identify impactful stories and share personalized updates that deepen donor connection.
Event Support: Assist with the planning and execution of local fundraising and donor engagement events.
CRM Maintenance: Maintain and update donor records in the database with precision and consistency.
Prospect Research: Identify and organize new donor leads to support team cultivation strategies.
Reporting & Admin: Provide support with mailings, reports, acknowledgments, and general fundraising administration

What we are looking for

1–3 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or a related nonprofit role.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with a talent for storytelling and relationship-building.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
A self-starter who thrives independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Comfortable using CRM systems.
