Job description

Job Description
Position Summary

Ogletree Deakins is interested in connecting with experienced attorneys as we continue to grow our presence across the Greater Los Angeles market. We are particularly interested in attorneys based in West Los Angeles or interested in opportunities in that area.

While prior labor and employment experience is preferred, we are also interested in attorneys with strong civil litigation backgrounds, including insurance defense attorneys seeking to apply their litigation experience to a management-side labor and employment practice.

Ideal candidates will have meaningful litigation experience and be comfortable handling matters through various stages of litigation. Relevant experience may include taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, managing written discovery, conducting legal research and analysis, preparing matters for mediation or trial, and working directly with clients.

Unlike many other firms, we provide our attorneys with hands-on writing, publishing, and speaking opportunities and access to robust professional development training programs. The firm also offers a generous benefits package to all eligible employees.
