About the Role
Accurate and timely collection posting and billing of pharmacy revenue. Address customers' questions and concerns and market the positive image of SelectRx throughout the local communities.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees daily billing activity to ensure proper procedures and processes
Verifies and reconcile all pharmacy deposits
Spots errors and follow procedures.
Processes claim rejections accurately and in a timely manner
Validates revenue reports for accuracy
Always maintains confidentiality in dealing with all clients and company information. Does not inappropriately access listen to or distribute any sensitive information or allow others to do so.
Provides support and continued training to billing specialists
Performs duties and responsibilities according to the philosophy and standards of SelectRx including conveying courtesy, respect, enthusiasm and positive attitudes in work situations with clients, peers and visitors; maintains client and associate confidentiality
Individual is responsible for understanding all the applicable policies and procedures of the department necessary to perform essential job functions as well as the associate handbook
The position may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those stated in this description as directed by the Pharmacy Manager
Ensures that trainees acquire the knowledge and skill to perform daily tasks
Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists associates in solving work problems
Advises management on problems relating to billing
Encourages, enables, empowers and equips billing staff

Education and Experience:
3-5 years of relevant Billing system or accounting technical experience required
1-3 years of supervisory experience required
Certificates/Licenses/Registration:
Pharmacy Technician Certification required (PTCB or NHA)
Indiana and Pennsylvania State Pharmacy Technician license required, or willing to obtain before start date.
Physical Requirements:
Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to a home office environment. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
