Job description
Temple Emanuel, an egalitarian congregation with over 1,500 member units affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, is seeking a warm, dynamic, and creative Jewish educator to teach some of our youngest learners.
Sundays, 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
September through June
Program Highlights:
The first-grade curriculum includes:
Hebrew alphabet and vowels
Jewish holidays
Torah stories
Israel
Tefilot
Additional Responsibilities:
Participation in staff meetings, planning and curriculum development
Mentor teen madrichim/classroom helpers
Who You Are:
A passionate and engaging Jewish educator dedicated to student-centered learning
Creative, flexible, and excellent at working with diverse learners
Fluency in Hebrew a plus!
