Kindergarten Teacher and / Assistant Teacher
Location: River Edge, New Jersey (Minutes from
Paramus and Teaneck) 

Schedule:
● Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
● Friday: 9:00 AM – Approximately 1:00 PM 

Employment Type: Full-Time (10-Month Position)
School Year: September 2026 – June 2027
Salary: $40,000 per year 

About the Opportunity
A warm and welcoming school in River Edge, NJ is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kindergarten Teacher (Morah) to lead its Kindergarten program. This individual will serve as the face of the Kindergarten department and play a key role in creating a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys building strong relationships with families, and is
committed to fostering both academic and personal growth in students.

Key Responsibilities
● Lead and manage a professional
Kindergarten classroom
● Create engaging lesson plans and
age-appropriate educational activities
● Foster a warm, nurturing, and structured
learning environment
● Build positive relationships with students,
parents, and staff
● Communicate regularly with parents
regarding student progress and classroom
activities
● Support students' academic, social, and
emotional development
● Maintain classroom organization and uphold
school standards and values
● Participate in school events, meetings, and
professional development activities
● Teaching certification preferred
● Previous Kindergarten or Early Childhood
Education experience strongly preferred
● Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills
● Must be a people person who enjoys
working closely with both children and
parents
● Strong classroom management and
organizational skills
● Ability to independently run a professional
Kindergarten program
● Warm, energetic, patient, and dependable

As a Yeshiva Academy, candidates should have a
Jewish background and demonstrate respect for
Jewish values, traditions, and the school's educational
environment. 

Assistant Teacher Opportunity
Candidates who are not certified teachers but have
relevant experience working with children and a
strong interest in early childhood education may be
considered for an Assistant Teacher position.
