Job description

Our client, a leading ecommerce company, is seeking a strategic Warehouse Manager with expertise in overseeing end-to-end warehouse operations within a high-volume e-commerce environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing and optimizing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping, receiving, team leadership, and process efficiency to support large-scale Amazon fulfillment and logistics.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth coordination between shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment teams.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor department managers across shipping, receiving, and inventory to ensure departmental goals align with company objectives.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures to improve accuracy, speed, and safety throughout the warehouse.
  • Monitor and optimize warehouse workflows, layouts, and space utilization to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, internal policies, and Amazon's fulfillment standards.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and executive leadership to forecast needs and scale operations effectively.
  • Implement KPI tracking and regular performance reviews to evaluate and enhance team productivity.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement using technology, data, and best practices in warehousing.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing multiple departments.
  • Proven experience managing high-volume e-commerce or Amazon FBA/FBM warehouse operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to guide department heads and build a cohesive, performance-driven culture.
  • Deep understanding of inventory control systems, shipping/receiving processes, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Experience implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills to effectively manage personnel and operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on results and accountability.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in data tools, Excel, and warehouse optimization software.
