Administrative Coordinator Position Overview

A Yeshiva in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a responsible, highly organized, and capable Administrative Coordinator to help manage day-to-day school operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who can keep multiple responsibilities organized, communicate effectively with staff, parents, vendors, and service providers, and ensure important tasks are completed accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, comfortable taking ownership, and able to anticipate needs rather than waiting for direction. Familiarity with the Yeshiva and frum community is important for understanding the school's environment, families, and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day administrative operations of the Yeshiva.
  • Communicate with vendors, service providers, and outside organizations.
  • Manage scheduling, appointments, meetings, and school calendars.
  • Coordinate school trips, transportation, and related logistics.
  • Arrange transportation and communicate schedules and changes with appropriate parties.
  • Assist with facilities coordination and ensure operational needs are addressed.
  • Oversee student enrollment processes and maintain accurate student records.
  • Communicate professionally with parents regarding school-related matters.
  • Assist with student, parent, teacher, and staff communications.
  • Maintain organized administrative records, files, and documentation.
  • Support staff with HR-related administrative needs, payroll coordination, and compliance documentation.
  • Follow up on outstanding paperwork, requests, and operational matters.
  • Assist with office management and ensure supplies and resources are available as needed.
  • Coordinate multiple projects, schedules, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Use technology and administrative systems to improve organization and efficiency.
  • Provide general administrative support to Yeshiva leadership.
  • Help ensure school operations are consistent with the Yeshiva's mission, standards, and values.
  • Take ownership of additional administrative and operational responsibilities as needed.
