Communications Manager at SAR Academy

SAR Academy, a Modern Orthodox co-educational nursery through grade 8 day school in Riverdale, NY, seeks a talented, creative, and highly organized Communications Manager to advance its communications strategy and tell the story of the school community through compelling content, digital engagement, and strategic communications. Responsibilities: • Execute SAR's comprehensive communications and marketing strategy across internal and external audiences • Develop and produce engaging written content including school communications, newsletters, website updates, announcements, and marketing materials • Create and curate content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, email, and other digital platforms • Capture and coordinate photo and multimedia content highlighting student learning, school programs, and community life • Support communications plans for major school events, initiatives, and special projects • Manage job postings and recruitment communications Qualifications: • 5–7 years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail • Experience developing content for traditional and digital media, including social media • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities • Comfort and fluency with technology, digital tools, and content management platforms • Photography, social media content creation, or multimedia production experience preferred • Nonprofit, educational, or mission-driven environment experience preferred Salary: $70,000–$90,000 a year, commensurate with experience.
