Job description

As the largest funder of Jewish causes in California, the Jewish Federation Bay Area connects donors, changemakers, and community partners to build a thriving, resilient future. Diller Teen Fellows is an immersive experiential education program for 11th graders designed to inspire and promote engagement and leadership among Jewish youth. Begun in San Francisco in 1998, it now spans 32 communities across seven countries. Each year 20 Bay Area teens participate alongside 20 Diller Teen Fellows in the Upper Galilee region of Israel, through 14 Sunday workshops, 3 weekend retreats, tikkun olam projects, a ten-day hosting of their Israeli peers, and a 3-week Israel Summer Seminar. The Diller Fellows Program Associate supports the Program Coordinator across a range of administrative duties, including staffing events, prepping materials, organizing logistics, supporting teens, and assisting with recruitment. Responsibilities: • Staff Sunday meetings and weekend retreats, assisting with program logistics and supervision of teens • Assist in meeting prep, including logistics, supplies, speakers, and materials • Attend the three-week summer seminar in Israel • Act as facilitator for educational activities as needed • Assist with recruitment logistics and interviews • Input data into Salesforce, run reports, and monitor the payment schedule **Hours:** Approximately 4 hours per week, up to 8 as needed, plus Sunday meetings, weekend retreats, and a three-week summer seminar in Israel. Note: Reports to the Director, Teen Philanthropy and Leadership.
