QA Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a QA Engineer to help ensure product quality across our tech platform. This role will focus on validating new features, identifying and tracking bugs, performing production smoke testing after deployments, and partnering closely with engineering and product teams to catch issues early. his is an opportunity to take ownership of QA processes and eventually help drive automation efforts as the team grows.

Requirements

Experience with manual testing, defect tracking, test case creation, and production smoke testing

Strong technical aptitude with the ability to investigate issues beyond the UI level

Excellent communication and collaboration skills across product and engineering teams

Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with confidence to raise concerns and push for quality

Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is a plus

API testing experience using Postman or similar tools preferred

SQL knowledge for backend/data validation preferred

Background in payroll, HR tech, benefits administration, or 401(k) platforms is highly valued
