ACCOUNTING Mid-size Accounting firm is seeking an experienced Billing Coordinator/Administrative Assistant to work in the Manhattan office. Requires previous experience in a CPA firm, Law firm, or other professional services environment. Experience with CCH Practice Management, a plus. Responsibilities include: Generating and sending invoices to clients, and meeting monthly, quarterly & annual deadlines. Creating new accounts, assigning billing codes, and adding client notes for contact information and billing preferences. Communicating with the managers, as necessary. Performing billing duties based on engagement letters and special arrangements between the firm and clients Entering and reviewing payment entries for accuracy. Communicating directly with clients regarding invoice/payment discrepancies. Assisting clients with reconciling their billing & payment information with the records. Preparing various billing reconciliations of fixed fee and other accounts. Monitoring outstanding balances, ensuring timely collection of payments, and initiating collection efforts.
