Job description

Why this role: This is a people leadership role in one of our most foundational product portfolios. You will build and grow a team, shape how the market understands our Data Quality, Governance, MDM, and Integration solutions, and help define how our broader product marketing organization works in an AI-driven world. If you want to lead people, own a segment scope, and help set the standard for how a category leader goes to market, this is the role for you.

What you will do:

Lead and develop a small team of Product Marketing Managers covering Data Quality, Data Governance, Master Data Management, and Data Integration, setting priorities, coaching for growth, and holding the team accountable to a high bar
Own the segment-level narrative, value proposition, and messaging frameworks that help unify our solutions into one coherent story for data leaders and business stakeholders
Guide your team in translating product capabilities into differentiated, outcome-oriented messaging, reviewing and sharpening their work before it reaches the field
Direct launch planning for major releases and cross-portfolio initiatives, partnering with Product Management on roadmap alignment and ensuring your team delivers launch-ready messaging and assets on time
Drive cross-functional alignment across Product Management, Sales, and other Marketing functions to deliver integrated campaigns and launches for the portfolio
Partner with Demand Generation, Content Marketing, Web & Brand, and Communications leadership to shape campaign strategy and ensure portfolio messaging powers pipeline growth
Develop persona-based messaging and thought leadership that engages data leaders, governance owners, and business buyers, supporting account-based programs for strategic accounts
Partner with Sales Enablement to direct the development of core readiness material, including pitch decks, demos, solution briefs, and battlecards, and personally deliver enablement to senior field and customer audiences as needed
Establish and refine the processes, standards, and best practices that help the team scale messaging quality and consistency as the portfolio grows
Champion AI adoption across the team, piloting new tools and workflows, setting expectations for responsible use, and mentoring team members on high-impact application of AI to their work
Represent the portfolio in Competitive Intelligence and Analyst Relations conversations, translating win/loss insights, customer themes, and market shifts into positioning and roadmap input
What we are looking for:

Required:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
7+ years of product marketing experience in B2B software, including experience owning go-to-market strategy across a multi-product or multi-capability portfolio
2+ years of experience directly managing or leading product marketers or a similar team, with a track record of coaching talent and raising team output
Strong track record developing positioning and messaging for both business and technical buyers across a portfolio, not just a single product
Demonstrated success partnering with Demand Generation to drive pipeline and with Sales and Sales Enablement to improve win rates through readiness
Hands-on experience applying AI to product marketing use cases, with the judgment to guide a team's adoption of AI tools responsibly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex concepts into clear, differentiated narratives and to coach others to do the same
Experience working cross-functionally with Product Management on roadmap, launch planning, and customer research at a portfolio level
Travel is required: Yes, ~10-15%

AI Skills/Knowledge:

Precisely is an AI-first organization. All employees are expected to use AI tools to accelerate their work, improve the quality of their output, and eliminate low-value tasks. Candidates should be comfortable using generative and agentic AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) in their day-to-day workflows, be able to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs, and be open to continuously adopting new AI capabilities as they emerge.

Demonstrated judgment for responsible, high-impact AI adoption — knowing what to automate, what to augment, and what to leave alone — and the ability to instill that judgment in a team
Hands-on experience applying AI to core product marketing work, including messaging, content, research, and competitive intelligence
Track record piloting new AI tools and workflows, then scaling what works across a team
Experience mentoring and upskilling team members on high-impact, responsible AI adoption

Preferred Skills:

Experience in marketing data quality, data governance, master data management, data integration, data observability, or adjacent data management solutions
Prior experience managing a small product marketing team supporting a multi-capability portfolio
Familiarity with modern data ecosystems, including cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
Exposure to AI and machine learning use cases, particularly how data quality, governance, and integration enable trustworthy AI outcomes
Experience contributing to or overseeing analyst briefings, inquiries, and evaluations (e.g., Gartner, IDC, etc.)
