Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced and analytical FinCrimes Analyst to strengthen our Financial Intelligence Unit with investigative capacity in the United States.

As we scale our transaction monitoring program and expand into new markets, you will serve as a lead investigator for our most complex casework — handling escalations, high-risk typologies, and matters with potential regulatory or law-enforcement exposure.

This role is critical for protecting our customers and platform, requiring a blend of deep investigative expertise, sound judgment on high-impact decisions, and the ability to bridge the gap between frontline alert operations and US regulatory expectations.
What You’ll Be Doing
Own escalated and complex cases end-to-end: intake, investigation, disposition, and documentation to evidence standards
Investigate fiat and on-chain activity across our monitoring stack
Draft and manage customer RFIs; recommend and execute actions (clear, freeze, block, offboard) per the escalation matrix
Prepare SAR/STR-ready narratives and evidence packs, and support suspicious activity reporting workflows
Support law enforcement requests and jurisdiction-sensitive matters requiring US-based handling

What You'll Bring
4+ years in AML, fraud, transaction monitoring, or financial crimes investigations, including experience with complex or escalated casework (fintech or crypto strongly preferred)
Must be based in and authorized to work in the United States
Deep working knowledge of AML/CFT typologies
Strong understanding of the US regulatory landscape: BSA/AML, OFAC sanctions, and SAR filing expectations
Hands-on experience with monitoring and blockchain analytics tools such as Sardine, Elliptic or others
Excellent investigative writing — able to produce audit-ready case narratives and evidence packs
