What You Will Do

Lead defined, short-term strategic sourcing initiatives with limited oversight to optimize procurement processes and deliver near-term cost savings, with a focus on Corporate Services categories.
Partner directly with internal stakeholders, including Technology, Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Digital, and Merchandising, to quickly align priorities, advance time-sensitive procurement activities, and support workforce extension goals.
Take ownership of procurement data analysis to identify immediate trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights that support timely decision-making.
Prepare and present concise performance updates with minimal direction, highlighting key metrics, progress against short-term deliverables, and completed achievements.
Build effective working relationships quickly, fostering an environment of acceptance and respect that supports productive collaboration with colleagues, customers, and communities.
Support other time-bound procurement activities as assigned, with the ability to operate autonomously and deliver against defined priorities.

Skills You Will Need

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Expertise: Skilled in developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives in Corporate Services categories, to optimize procurement processes and drive cost savings.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Adept at building and managing supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness while collaborating with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business goals.

Analytical & Financial Acumen: Proficient in analyzing procurement data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, with a strong understanding of financial accounting principles and cost optimization strategies.

Communication & Presentation Skills: Experience and strength in communicating procurement strategies and insights effectively to senior leadership, facilitate meetings, and prepare reports that highlight key metrics and achievements.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in procurement software and tools used for supplier management, contract negotiation, and data analysis.

Who You Are

Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Procurement, specifically in Corporate Services.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational procurement environment or 5 years procurement consulting plus 2 years operational procurement.
Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
