We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Scribe to join our neurology healthcare team. The Medical Scribe will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters in real-time during examinations and procedures. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a medical environment while enhancing their understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. We can train a motivated candidate. We currently are interested in candidtates who looking to go into a medical field such as physicians assistant, nurse practitioner or is premed in a gap year.

Responsibilities:
Accurately transcribe patient encounters, including history, physical exams, and treatment plans, into electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Document all relevant medical information as directed by healthcare providers during patient visits.
Assist in maintaining organized medical records and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to enhance workflow efficiency.
Stay updated on medical terminology and anatomy to ensure precise documentation.
Support the healthcare team by managing administrative tasks related to patient care.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a medical office or familiarity with medical documentation is preferred.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Proficient typing skills with the ability to transcribe quickly and accurately.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Pay Rate: $20-$22
