Job description

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain WordPress-based web properties, including custom themes and plugins
Build and update landing pages, campaign pages, and site sections in close collaboration with Marketing and Design
Implement responsive, accessible, and cross-browser-compatible front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Optimize site performance including page speed, Core Web Vitals, and SEO best practices
Manage WordPress configuration, plugin updates, and security hardening
Integrate third-party tools and APIs including CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end issues in a timely manner
Maintain clean, well-documented code and follow established development standards
Support QA and testing processes to ensure consistent, high-quality releases
Collaborate asynchronously with a remote-first team across Marketing, Design, and Operations

Requirements

5+ years of professional web development experience, with significant focus on WordPress
Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (vanilla and/or modern frameworks)
Hands-on experience building and customizing WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
Experience with WordPress VIP, including familiarity with its hosting environment, deployment workflows, and code standards
Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar tools
Experience integrating HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, or similar platforms
Understanding of web performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO
Solid grasp of WordPress security best practices and site hardening
Experience with Git-based version control workflows
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
Strong written communication skills for async collaboration

Nice to Haves

Experience with B2B tech or cybersecurity companies
Familiarity with headless WordPress or REST API integrations
