Job description
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute comprehensive system test procedures to evaluate performance, stability, and functionality across NAS IT platforms.
• Perform regression testing to verify fixes, feature enhancements, and system compatibility with earlier baselines.
• Facilitate and document User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in coordination with stakeholders to confirm operational readiness.
• Utilize test simulators, including SDRR, to replicate radar and environmental conditions for robust validation efforts.
• Apply structured test management method to log defects, monitor execution, and support quality assurance milestones.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers and NAS stakeholders to align testing outcomes with operational requirements, especially involving E-IDS components.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business systems, management information system, other IT degrees with 5+ years of experience is required.
Qualifications
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in software and systems testing, preferably in aviation or transportation sectors.
• Proficiency in test case development, execution, and defect tracking tools.
• Familiarity with NAS architecture, operations, and compliance standards.
• Experience using SDRR or equivalent radar simulation tools for test replication.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for stakeholder reporting and test documentation.
• Preferred: Prior exposure to, or operational knowledge of, E-IDS or similar NAS systems.
Work Requirements
• Work location: WJHTC, Atlantic City, NJ

Physical requirements:
Extended Computer Use: Regular and prolonged periods of working at a computer terminal.
Lifting and Carrying: Occasional lifting of equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds may be required during installations or maintenance.
Mobility: Ability to move around the office environment to access computer hardware, networking equipment, and server rooms.
Dexterity: Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate computer equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform tasks requiring precision.
Sitting/Standing: Both prolonged sitting and occasional standing may be required for troubleshooting and attending to system issues.
