Electrical Engineering/Electro-Optics

Responsibilities
The co-op will configure and run laboratory equipment to accurately measure Electro-Optic performance of cameras and/or sensors, document test procedures, write simple Labview control programs, and compile test data for review. The intern will also have the opportunity to learn about CCD and CMOS imaging sensors and EO Test Equipment.

Qualifications
Current New Jersey Institute of Technology student available for the fall co-op cycle.
Working towards a BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering or a related field. Desirable course studies include semiconductor devices/fabrication, optics, or computer programming.
Due to government requirements candidates must be a US Citizen
Familiar with common test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators
Previous experience in a laboratory environment
Strong PC skills
Desired skills:

Knowledge of imager characterization tests
Knowledge of Electro Optic Principles and concepts with applications to imager and camera testing
Knowledge of Labview, MATLAB
