Job description
What You’ll Do
Lay out and install light-gauge metal framing — the core of the role — including metal stud partitions, walls, soffits, bulkheads, ceilings, and architecturally complex layouts
Frame structural and non-structural assemblies to spec, maintaining dimensional accuracy and plumb/level tolerances
Hang drywall and assist with close-in to keep interior scopes on schedule
Perform finish carpentry as needed: install doors, frames, trim, and hardware
Read and work from blueprints, shop drawings, and field measurements
Coordinate with field supervisors and other trades (MEP, ceilings, drywall) to maintain sequencing and quality
Operate metal-cutting tools, screw guns, and layout equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA standards
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of metal stud framing experience in commercial or multifamily construction
Strong working knowledge of light-gauge metal framing methods, layout, and assemblies
Proficiency with metal-cutting tools, screw guns, and standard hand and power tools of the trade
Ability to read construction drawings and take accurate measurements
Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolding/lifts
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites across the region
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude
Drywall and finish carpentry experience a plus
OSHA 10/30 a plus (we can support certification)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

$25 – $40/hr. based on experience
