4th Grade Religious School and Hebrew Teacher

Position Overview

We are seeking a caring, energetic, and responsible individual to join our team as a teacher in our Religious School program, either on Wednesdays, Sundays, or on both days. This role requires in-classroom responsibilities, lesson planning and lesson execution, and supporting children’s social, emotional, and educational growth in a nurturing Jewish setting. Familiarity with special education tools and tactics a plus.

We are looking to fill (up to) two roles: one 4th Grade Sunday Religious School teacher and one Wednesday 4th grade Hebrew teacher. A qualified candidate is eligible to teach on both Sunday and Wednesday as one position. We will accept applicants who are only available to teach a single day.

Key Responsibilities

School Support: Actively participate and model positive behavior in T’fillah with students, support students during transitions, and arrival and dismissal.
Hebrew Instruction: Teach or assist in teaching a Hebrew language class using immersive and interactive methods.
Jewish Educational Instruction: Teach or assist in teaching a Religious School class using immersive and interactive methods.
Lesson Planning: Prepare and facilitate lesson plans each week.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other educators and staff to create a positive and inclusive environment.
