Contract Specialist II

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated federal contracting experience across the full acquisition lifecycle, from solicitation development through contract administration.
Current or previous Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) certification, Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA), or civilian equivalent (e.g., National Contract Management Agency (NCMA)).
Extensive working knowledge of the FAR.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to obtain and maintain the government suitability determination required for agency access.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience with the Integrated Contracts Expert (ICE) contract writing system.
Prior experience supporting CDC, HHS, or other federal public health agency acquisitions.
Familiarity with the Small Business Customer Experience (SBCX) system, FPDS reporting, and GSA eBuy.
