QA Precert Technician

Required Skills
Ability to perform visual and functional inspections of industrial electronic components
Familiarity with industrial automation equipment such as PLCs, servo drives, motors, and sensors
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Proficiency in using quality management systems and databases for recording inspection results
Basic understanding of quality assurance principles and inspection methodologies
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and component datasheets
Competency in operating standard testing and measurement equipment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of safety protocols and proper handling of electronic components
Ability to follow established procedures and checklists with precision
Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues

Required Experience
Prior experience in a quality assurance, quality control, or inspection role preferred
Experience working with industrial electronic components or automation equipment is a plus
Background in electronics, electrical engineering technology, or a related technical field
Experience using quality management or inventory tracking software systems
Hands-on experience with testing and diagnostic equipment for electronic components
Experience documenting inspection findings and maintaining accurate quality records
Familiarity with manufacturing or repair facility environments
Experience following standardized inspection procedures and quality checklists
Any experience with continuous improvement processes or lean manufacturing principles is beneficial
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in electronics or a related field preferred
