Shabbat Morning Youth Service Leader

We are seeking an enthusiastic, musical Youth Service Leader to lead our weekly Shabbat morning services for kids ages 0-10 and their grownups. These services will include a storybook read-aloud, facilitated discussion, and/or interactive activity based on that week’s Torah portion or holiday. In partnership with our Cantors, we’re looking for someone who can bring music, ruach, and wisdom to our Shalom Shabbat (Families with 0-5 year olds), Shachar (Families with K-2nd graders), and/or Noar (Families with 3rd-6th graders) services.

The ideal candidate will:

Be excited about singing, playing, dancing, and praying with kids of all ages
Possess a strong singing voice and be able to play a portable instrument as accompaniment (guitar, ukelele, mandolin etc.)
Have basic familiarity with the Shabbat morning prayer service and a willingness to learn more
