Job description
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and partner with school-based attendance teams to implement research evidence-based strategies that improve student attendance and reduce chronic absenteeism.
• Analyze attendance data to identify trends, monitor progress toward district goals, provide technical assistance and coaching to schools, coordinate family and community engagement efforts, and prepare reports and recommendations for district leadership.
• Serve as the primary resource for attendance initiatives, ensuring consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across all schools.
• Any other tasks the Superintendent deems necessary.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, public administration, counseling, or any related field required
• Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of (3) years of experience in K-12 education, student support services, attendance improvement, family engagement, or any related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of chronic absenteeism, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), data analysis, and research evidence-based attendance interventions.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills wit the ability to build productive relationships with school staff, families, and community partners.
