Marketing Manager

We’re excited to hire a Marketing Manager for fine fragrance at our NYC location! As an individual contributor, independently lead the fragrance-marketing strategy for account-specific presentations and category initiatives. Identify new olfactive and business opportunities based on market intelligence and client needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Utilize internal data and external industry sources to support the fragrance-marketing strategy to develop market overviews and studies regarding fragrance/product trends for various categories.
Create category reviews via analysis of Nielsen/IRI/Circana sell-through data for internal and external deliverables.
Build and support new and existing platforms and tools to support the business.
Support the Marketing Director on large-scale initiatives and overall strategy.
Create and deliver compelling creative concepts and presentations with supporting visuals both proactively and in response to customer requests.
Keep abreast of emerging market trends and societal trends.
Work with clients to enhance consumer understanding of fragrance, the creative process, and trends.
Interpret client needs and translate them into winning fragrance-marketing strategies.
Initiate brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas.
Work closely with Perfumers, Evaluators, R&D, and Sales to develop strategic ideas.
Support MANE affiliates.
Some travel is required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

B.S. degree in Marketing preferred
5+ years marketing/sales/advertising experience in fragrance industry.
