Job Description
As a Showroom & PR Specialist, your main focus will be to build and maintain a network of key fashion journalists, stylists, influencers, and; Support PR with administrative duties, including press monitoring, documentation, and internal sampling. This on-site role reports into our Brand PR &Talent Manager and is based out of New York Support Office.
A Day in the Life
Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities*
Manage the daily upkeep, organization, and visual presentation of the showroom in line with brand and global guidelines
Coordinate sample handling, including garment requests, send-outs, and returns, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting including showroom application tool
Support the planning and execution of showroom events, including logistics, invitations, and presentation setup
Handle day-to-day relationship with talent and management teams to ensure smooth partnership, including but not limited to, talent casting, contract negotiation, fittings, gifting and travel coordination
Collaborate with Communications Specialists on Fashion PR activities and initiatives
Coordinate with internal teams such as Influencer Marketing and Store staff to secure product access and alignment on campaigns
Support PR with administrative duties, including press monitoring, documentation, and internal sample sales
Build and maintain a network of key fashion journalists, stylists, influencers, and other opinion leaders
Attend industry events and brand activities to strengthen relationships and support PR objectives
Act as a brand ambassador in all interactions, representing the company’s image and values in external engagements
Contribute to continuous improvement of showroom processes and support cross-functional collaboration within the Marketing team
Stay updated on market trends and competitors within your functional expertise area
Qualifications
Who You Are:
Education in PR, Communication, Marketing, or related field (formal qualification meriting)
Deep interest and knowledge of fashion and media landscapes
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
Demonstrated success in building and managing partnerships with celebrities, influencers, etc. (with an established network within fashion and celebrities)
Creative skills and experience from visual merchandising to reflect brand identity (including product and styling knowledge)
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages as required per market
Experience working with Fashion PR, showrooms, or editorial fashion
