Job description

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys within the Litigation & Family Law practice.
Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, court appearances, depositions, and client appointments.
Draft, proofread, edit, and format legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and court filings.
Prepare, file, and serve legal documents through state and federal e-filing systems and coordinate physical filings when necessary.
Coordinate new client and matter intake, including opening files and maintaining accurate client records.
Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files, pleadings, discovery, and trial binders.
Monitor case deadlines, court dates, and attorney calendars to ensure timely completion of all matters.
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors.
Assist with litigation case management, trial preparation, and document organization.
Process expense reports, reimbursements, and other administrative requests.
Provide reception and administrative backup support as needed.
Maintain confidentiality of all client and firm information.
Perform additional administrative duties to support attorneys and the overall practice group.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of legal administrative assistant or legal secretary experience within a law firm or professional services environment.
Prior experience supporting Litigation and/or Family Law attorneys strongly preferred.
Experience preparing, formatting, proofreading, and filing legal documents.
Knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong client service skills and the ability to build professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Experience using document management and client management systems.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment.
