Job description

What You’ll Do
Facilitate and lead group therapy sessions as scheduled within the evening IOP program.
Prepare and deliver structured, evidence-informed group content tailored to the needs of the client population.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation for each group session, including progress notes and attendance records.
Complete all required reports in accordance with program, organizational, and compliance standards.
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care and alignment with individual treatment goals.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and therapeutic group environment that promotes client engagement and recovery.

Requirements
Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field required.
Active, independent licensure in the state of New Jersey required.
Experience facilitating group therapy or psychoeducational groups in a behavioral health setting.
Familiarity with IOP or similar levels of care is a plus.
Strong documentation skills with the ability to complete progress notes and records accurately and on time.
Ability to engage and connect with a diverse client population in a group setting.
Knowledge of trauma-informed, evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain professional boundaries and uphold HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality.

Benefits
Compensation and Schedule
Compensation: $125 per group facilitated (independent licensure required)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Facilitators typically lead an average of 2 groups per evening session (~$250/night)
A strong supplement to a primary clinical position or an ideal way to accumulate licensure hours in a structured, supportive environment
