Administrative Assistant
Summary of Position

The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Resident District Manager and assist various departments throughout the unit.

Qualifications
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
1–2 years of related administrative experience.
Basic phone and computer skills (email, texting, etc.).
Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
Mature judgment and professional behavior.
Maintains high standards for work areas and personal appearance.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Presents a professional demeanor and demonstrates honesty and integrity.
Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with coworkers and other departments.
Maintains professional relationships with coworkers, vendors, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives.

Responsibilities
Administrative Support
Perform clerical tasks such as photocopying, compiling records, filing, tabulating, posting information, and scheduling appointments.
Type or enter information into a computer to prepare correspondence.
Prepare, issue, and distribute receipts, bills, invoices, statements, policies, and checks.
Maintain records, prepare forms, verify information, and resolve routine issues.
Conduct research as needed.
Operate various office equipment.
Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail; prepare and send outgoing mail.
Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and perform errands.

Financial & Accounting Support
Receive, count, and deposit cash as needed.
Perform general accounting duties and prepare SFE financial reports in accordance with company policies.
Perform accounting and financial functions for multiple units when required.

Human Resources Support
Assist with human resources functions, including:
Benefits administration
Personnel action forms
Payroll processing
Provide HR support for the unit, district, and region as needed.

Leadership & Operations
Serve as a lead unit clerk by performing advanced, non-routine clerical duties.
Effectively multitask while managing administrative responsibilities.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Safety & Compliance
Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
Report all accidents and injuries promptly.
Participate in regular safety meetings, hazard assessments, and required safety training.
Attend required classroom and virtual training programs.
