Who are we hiring?

The Associate, Digital Content will contribute to the creation of best-in-class social media content for MSG Entertainment’s Live, Marquee, and Rockettes businesses, with a focus on increasing revenue and growing customer base through impactful creative, well-produced, and well-timed storytelling. The ideal candidate will bring foundational understanding in design, photo and video (specifically TikTok & Reels), and possess an understanding of how people digest and engage with social content, an eye for detail, and a passion for live events. This role requires creative judgment in developing content strategies and executing original work across platforms. The Associate will collaborate cross-functionally both internally and externally to develop content for show coverage, upcoming events, company tentpoles, marketing partnerships, and more.

What will you do?

Contribute to the development and execution of social media strategy for short-form video content on Reels and TikTok for all MSGE brands including Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, Beacon Theatre, Chicago Theatre, Infosys Theater at Madsion Square Garden, and the Rockettes.
Conceptualize, film, edit, and produce compelling original video content showcasing events, performances, behind-the-scenes moments, and brand storytelling.
Apply creative judgment to develop social concepts for on-site shoots, collaborating cross-functionally to bring ideas from ideation through final execution
Provide live event coverage exercising editorial discretion in capturing and curating real-time content for social media and supporting communications functions as called upon with external clients and contacts as needed (agencies, media outlets, promoters, etc.)
Manage content scheduling and publishing, applying professional judgment to optimize timing, platform selection, and audience engagement
Analyze performance data, identify emerging trends, and apply insights to inform content strategy and creative direction.
Work closely and proactively with marketing, communications, archives, photo/video, legal, and other relevant departments to track approvals and ensure alignment across all content.
Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.

What do you need to succeed?

2+ years of professional experience working in live music, entertainment, events or agency setting in a content creation or social media role
Demonstrated creative expertise across social platforms with the ability to apply independent judgment in tailoring content for maximum impact
Proficient in social photography and working knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere
Experience exercising creative discretion in fast-paced, live environments
Versatile interpersonal skills and professionalism to work across multiple environments and departments, including direct interaction with artists and talent
Organizational and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to independently prioritize and deliver across multiple concurrent initiatives
Forward-thinking, creatively driven, and solutions-oriented mindset
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, balancing independent creative decisions with cross-department planning
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:

Given the nature of live entertainment, flexibility is essential — the role includes coverage of evening and weekend events as part of the regular scope of responsibilities.
