Job description

Paid Social Specialist (Creative) — Social Commerce Pod
We are seeking two Paid Social Specialists to run our Social Commerce business. Each owns a distinct part of the funnel — one focused on media buying and spend allocation, the other on creative testing and iteration — but both are accountable to the same performance outcomes and work closely together to drive affiliate commerce growth. Both sit on the same performance marketing pod and operate as peers.

Paid Social Specialist, Creative
As the Paid Social Specialist, Creative, you are the visual and narrative architect of the pod. You work as a peer alongside the Buying Specialist to bridge our affiliate content and the end consumer, blending creative intuition, consumer psychology, and AI-powered tools to build ads and landing pages that scale.

You’ll act as a growth engine, using the latest AI tooling to iterate on content rapidly. You’ll own the full user journey — from the first hook in a Meta feed to the final conversion on our custom-built landing pages — keeping every touchpoint optimized for direct-response results.

Key Responsibilities

• Creative Production: Produce and deploy ad creative at scale to expand the volume and variety of our creative testing — starting on Meta, then adapting natively for TikTok and other platforms as we expand.

• Full-Funnel Content Ownership: Own the narrative and visual flow of our custom-built landing pages — not just the ads, but the full path from social platform to an affiliate partner’s sale.

• E-commerce Psychology & Trends: Apply deep knowledge of shopping trends and consumer behavior to content that sells, including dedicated creative strategies for major retail events (Prime Day, BFCM, etc.).

• Strategic Ideation: Develop and present campaign concepts that align affiliate goals with consumer purchase intent. Lead the creative audit process to track what competitors are doing and how to outperform them.

• Rapid Iteration & CRO: Use data from the Buying Specialist to cut underperforming creative and double down on winners, continuously testing new headlines, page layouts, and AI-generated hooks to improve CVR and CTR.

• Collaborative Feedback Loop: Join a daily data-sharing session with your Buying counterpart, merging their tracking insights with your top-performing formats into a robust testing roadmap.

Job Qualifications

• Experience: 2–3 years in digital creative production, performance design, or content marketing, with a focus on e-commerce and direct-response results.

• AI & Tech Fluency: Proficiency in the modern AI creative stack; comfort using technology to automate and scale creative output.

• Landing Page Mastery: Proven ability to build high-converting landing pages — you understand where the button goes, how social proof is laid out, and how to reduce friction.

• Direct Response Expertise: A deep understanding of what drives a user to click and buy, and how to frame products in an affiliate context to maximize trust and intent.

• Production Tools: Hands-on experience with WYSIWYG design/video tools (Canva, CapCut, or internal CMS builders) and AI tools that scale production.

• Affiliate & Retail Knowledge: Familiarity with the affiliate ecosystem and the seasonal cycles of e-commerce.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field — or an equivalent portfolio of work.
