Job description

What you’ll do:

Perform high-quality comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations in line with established clinical protocols and standards of care
Partner with the store team to create an exceptional patient experience while working together to grow the eye exam business at your location
Prescribe eyewear, contacts, and eye health solutions tailored to each patient’s needs, and educate them on their options. Diagnose and treat a variety of vision conditions, including refractive error and ocular health assessments, while ensuring accuracy to help patients see (and feel) their best
Share eye care knowledge with the team to help them confidently support patients throughout their journey
Be a visible and engaged clinical presence to reinforce our commitment to eye care, strengthen brand awareness around exams, and ensure a seamless, elevated patient experience
Use modern digital exam lanes and EMR tools to streamline care and ensure precision, striving for an excellent patient experience
Support key performance goals by delivering excellent clinical care
Collaborate closely with the Store Leader to align on goals and strategies to build a strong OD + store team partnership
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient examinations and treatments in compliance with regulatory standards and practice protocols
Maintain State Licensure in good standing and meet all Continuing Education/State requirements
Serve as a brand ambassador by educating and inspiring patients and team members, reinforcing our leadership in eye care within the community
Perform other tasks as needed to provide an exceptional patient experience
Who you are:

A Doctor of Optometry licensed in the state where you practice, in good standing
Dedicated to leading by example, inspiring your team through exceptional patient care, collaboration, and a strong work ethic
Business-minded and driven to deliver results
Excited by a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment and proactive in driving innovation and problem-solving
Knowledgeable about (and eager to incorporate) new technology into your work
Committed to continuous learning and professional growth, including staying up to date with the latest in clinical practices
