Related is seeking a polished, hospitality-driven Assistant General Manager to support operations at 1214 Fifth Avenue, one of Related’s premier luxury residential properties overlooking Central Park. This is an exciting opportunity for a service-focused property management professional who thrives in a high-touch, white-glove environment and is passionate about delivering an exceptional resident experience.
Partnering closely with the General Manager and onsite leadership team, this individual will play a key role in overseeing the property’s daily operations, enhancing resident satisfaction, supporting team performance, and ensuring the seamless execution of luxury residential services. The Assistant General Manager will help uphold the exceptional standards that define Related’s luxury portfolio while fostering a welcoming, discreet, and highly responsive living experience for residents.
From managing resident relations and move-ins to supporting building operations, vendor partnerships, financial administration, and resident engagement initiatives, this role offers broad exposure to all facets of luxury residential property management within one of the industry’s most respected owner/operators. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, solutions-oriented, and committed to delivering five-star service while building lasting relationships with residents, ownership, and colleagues.

Responsibilities include:
Assist with oversight of day-to-day building operations
Establish best practices and systems for office operations, policy and procedures
Engage third-party vendors and suppliers for appropriate services
Assist with all aspects of move-ins for new residents, including future follow-up to ensure positive acclimation to the building
Ensure efficient and courteous response to all resident requests, inquiries and concerns
Assist in the development and implementation of resident relation activities and events
Prepare and process appropriate written communications, i.e., memos, letters, insurance incident reports, etc.
Maintain accurate files for all site administration, including: lease files, operational procedure files, work-order files, etc.
Collect and post all resident rent payments and manage accounts receivables
Coordinate the filing of legal proceedings in accordance with local ordinances
