Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol

What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, property rules, and applicable emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, parking areas, common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and report maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
Support residential and commercial real estate operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and completing routine reports related to daily security-related activity.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
