Law Enforcement Information Systems Specialist

Duties

This position uses your knowledge and experience providing multi-faceted analysis products including reports and real-time communications in support of intelligence and law enforcement operations.

Qualifications
Experience: You qualify for the GS-09 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:

Receiving, compiling and updating intelligence reports during real-time law enforcement operations.
Gathering and analyzing data collected through numerous automated systems ensuring proper status determinations are quick and accurate.
Directing and advising law enforcement officers using information derived automated systems.
Analyzing actionable information during specific events that involve officer safety.
Identifying and reporting criminal history information, active warrants, and driver’s license information.
