Position Summary
The Senior Contracts Manager is responsible for leading enterprise-wide supplier contracting and sourcing activities, driving value generation, and establishing strategic relationships across key business functions. This role ensures effective supplier engagement, risk mitigation, and contract governance while supporting operational and revenue-generating initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Contracting & Negotiation
Negotiate and execute a wide range of supplier agreements, including:
Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
Statements of Work (SOWs)
NDAs, order forms, and media authorizations
Serve as an authorized signatory for supplier contracts (100+ annually)
Ensure agreements are clearly structured, aligned to business needs, and appropriately risk-managed
Partner with Legal and sourcing to support contract review, supplier transitions, and terminations
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
Lead sourcing initiatives across key indirect spend categories, including:
Distribution, warehousing, and logistics
Marketing and sales services
Professional services (BPO, engineering, legal, tax, HR)
Labor services
Facilities, utilities, and maintenance
Property, leases, insurance, and capital equipment
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers aligned with business strategy and growth initiatives
Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive performance and value
Operational & Financial Oversight
Review and approve purchase requisitions (~400 annually)
Manage supplier payment terms, invoice verification, and issue resolution
Support anti-fraud controls, including bank change verification processes
Oversee supplier collections and dispute resolution
Property, Equipment & Asset Management
Negotiate and manage property leases and landlord relationships
Support real estate strategy and new site identification
Lead negotiations for capital equipment purchases and long-term leases
Manage sales or disposition of excess equipment
Risk Management & Compliance
Protect company brand by ensuring ethical, compliant supplier practices
Evaluate supplier risks and ensure alignment with organizational standards
Manage financial document sharing associated with supplier engagements
Insurance & Cost Optimization
Lead enterprise insurance programs (>$2M annual spend), including:
General liability
Property and workers compensation
Cyber and cargo coverage
Manage policy cycles, renewals, and vendor relationships
Identify and lead energy rebate opportunities and submissions
Process Improvement & Leadership
Develop and enhance procurement processes and controls
Provide guidance and support to functional stakeholders across the business
Ensure cross-functional collaboration in sourcing decisions
Drive continuous improvement in sourcing execution and efficiency

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
7+ years of sourcing or procurement experience
Strong negotiation and analytical skills
Preferred:
Experience across indirect spend categories
Knowledge of contract law and risk management
Professional certifications (CPSM, CIPS)
Compensation
The base salary range is $135,000 – $150,000. This salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Savant is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
