Job description

Who You Are
We believe exceptional sales professionals pair sharp commercial instincts with operational discipline and a genuine drive to solve problems. We are looking for someone who believes in the future we are building for brick-and-mortar and takes pride in bringing a product to market that meaningfully changes how great operators grow.

This role requires someone who leads with collaboration and drives outcomes – working across the business to deliver team goals. We arrive at our best ideas through open discussion, respectful debate, and a shared commitment to results.

We are looking for someone who can engage confidently at the executive level, navigate complexity, and guide founders and leadership teams through a structured process from first conversation through close and well beyond. The ideal candidate knows how to identify the right stakeholders and decision makers, conduct a thorough needs analysis, build organizational buy-in, and address objections with credibility and poise. If the following sound like you, let’s talk:

Bonside resonates with you and you believe in the future of physical experiences

You are energized by building relationships, opening doors, and delivering outcomes that matter

You are quota-driven, personally accountable, and motivated by performance

You thrive in fast-paced environments and are energized by both improving existing systems and building new ones

You think cross-functionally and know how to identify opportunity and drive progress in evolving situations

You appreciate the power of capital markets or are genuinely eager to develop that fluency

The Role
This is not a role for someone looking to execute within a fixed system; it is for someone who wants to help define what excellence looks like and own the results that follow.

Closing a deal at Bonside is a nuanced, relationship-driven process that typically involves navigating leadership teams and earning trust at the ownership level. You will own that process end-to-end: from first outreach through close, and into the long-term health of every client relationship you build.

Performance in this role is measured by results – client volume closed and revenue delivered against a monthly + quarterly target. The expectations are clear, and so is the opportunity.

Responsibilities
Pipeline Development
Manage a high volume of qualified meetings with brick-and-mortar operators across sectors – including Hospitality, Health & Wellness, and Entertainment

Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities, build referral channels, and bring qualified leads into the funnel consistently

Maintain a structured, up-to-date pipeline – refreshing targets by sector, tracking engagement cadence, and ensuring every opportunity is actively managed

Sales Execution
Lead business pitches end-to-end, from discovery through close – guiding teams through a structured process and serving as the face of Bonside throughout

Partner with Finance to evaluate and lead businesses through diligence

Drive deal velocity – actively reducing time per stage, improving conversion rates, and keeping every process on task and on timeline

Own CRM management and deliver consistent reporting across weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences; leverage additional tools and platforms to manage your book of business with precision

Strategy & Commercial Influence
Contribute to and improve playbooks across the full commercial lifecycle e.g. prospecting, pitching, onboarding, account health, and referral generation

Build scalable frameworks for lead generation in partnership with the broader team – developing referral networks, establishing mutual value with partners, and strengthening the processes that drive consistent pipeline growth

Serve as the voice of the client internally – bringing market feedback to leadership, advocating for client needs, and directly influencing how Bonside approaches and evolves its strategy from a commercial, product, and financial perspective

Requirements
5+ years of experience in a full-cycle commercial role – sales, business development, partnerships, account management, or a meaningful blend

Demonstrated ability to own a pipeline, manage complex multi-stakeholder processes, and close against a quota

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to build credibility and trust with founders and senior executives

Highly organized and process-oriented, with a track record of managing competing priorities without losing momentum

Resourceful and adaptable – energized by improving and evolving a process, not just executing one

A self-starter who sets a high personal bar and consistently delivers against it

Genuine curiosity about finance and a willingness to develop fluency in Bonside’s model

NYC-based; hybrid schedule (3 days in office)
