Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner

This is a wonderful opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join an established, employed family medicine team within a busy and well-respected practice. Working alongside supportive physician partners, you will benefit from a steady, built-in patient base and the full resources of a robust health system network dedicated to comprehensive primary care

Join an established team of 5 physicians and 2 APPs
Call structure: Phone only every 10-12 weeks
Practice setting: Outpatient
Access to embedded LabCorp, robust care management and social work, diabetes educators
Employed position within a nonprofit health system
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
Deliver comprehensive primary healthcare to patients across their lifespan by accurately assessing, diagnosing, and managing both acute illnesses and chronic health conditions in close collaboration with our physician partners.
Design proactive wellness and preventative care plans, conducting thorough physical assessments, routine screenings, and immunizations to help patients maintain optimal long-term health.

What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.

Education:

Master’s degree of Nursing required.
