A day in the life:
This is an onsite role at our corporate headquarters in Miami
The EHS&S Coordinator will support the advancement of the company’s Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability initiatives. This role plays a key part on our corporate EHS&S team and is instrumental in driving program compliance, innovation, and strategic engagement internally and externally.

Based at our Miami, FL headquarters, the EHS&S Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Sustainability and the EVP of EHS&S to support company certifications and programs, enhance EHS&S communications, engage with both internal and external clients to help them reach their ESG goals, and collaborate cross-functionally across departments to identify and implement best practices.

Certification Management:
Lead the coordination, maintenance, and renewal of key environmental, health, safety, and sustainability certifications (e.g., CIMS-GB, etc.).
Monitor compliance requirements and ensure documentation is up-to-date and audit-ready.
Client Engagement & Support:
Partner with Harvard’s clients to understand their EHS&S goals and support initiatives to achieve them.
Assist in the development of customized reports, data tracking, and improvement plans.
Communications & Reporting:
Support internal and external EHS&S communications, including ESG reporting, risk and compliance responses, and stakeholder engagement materials.
Help craft and tell Harvard Maintenance’s EHS&S story through case studies, and data-driven narratives.
Training & Education:
Collaborate in the creation, maintenance, and delivery of EHS&S training content for employees and operational teams.
Help design onboarding and ongoing training modules to support a culture of safety and sustainability.

Knowledge and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Communications, Business, or a related field (required).
1–3 years of relevant experience in sustainability, health & safety, or environmental management preferred.
Strong understanding of key sustainability and EHS topics, such as:
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information for diverse audiences.
Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with data analysis, sustainability metrics, or reporting platforms (e.g., GRESB, CDP, EcoVadis) is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Leveraging AI platforms to increase efficiency and reduce administrative burden for the EHS&S department and internal clients.
