Job description
Key Responsibilities:
– Ensure through provided training and communication with the institution’s education team, full
understanding, knowledge, and preparation to provide in-class training to targeted school
populations following the provided curriculum.
– Communicate with the Program Director to coordinate scheduling, on-site logistics,and
distribution of provided educational materials.
– Provide on-site insights and/or assistance as necessary, with elected officials and other
designated VIP’s as proscribed by the Program Director or Executive Vice President when such
individuals or entities perform site visits to observe in class programming.
– Troubleshoot/ Report to Program Director issues communicated by either on-site school
officials, elected official or students regarding any element of the programmatic infrastructure.
– Assist in staffing and facilitating the execution of events related to agency trainings, and/ or
related programing as needed.
– Working as necessary with the Program Director to compile and organizing all necessary
programmatic statistics as need for various levels of reporting both internally and externally to
the organization.
Qualifications:
– Proven ability in public speaking and/ or in-class room interactive and multi-media program
facilitation.
– Proven ability to work with students of middle school and high school ages.
– Strong interpersonal skills and a proven record of being able to provide positive impact within a
team of professionals.
– A proven ability to successfully operate and adapt within a fast paced work environment.
– Passion for educating the next generation in combatting all forms of hate, including but not
limited to anti- Semitism, in an increasingly challenging environment.
– Familiarity with hybrid technologies such as PowerPoint, Smart Boards, Zoom and Teams. – Willingness to travel to schools throughout but within New York City’s Public Schools and other contracted schools.
