Security Officer Driver Patrol Watch

What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding security-related concerns and/or policy questions.
Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing direction to guests, and assisting with routine security-related checks in varying indoor and outdoor environments.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
