POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Administrative Supervisor is a role that bridges supervisory and director-level responsibilities within Preventive Services. The Administrative Supervisor provides cross-program supervision to supervisors, supports clinical and administrative oversight, and ensures continuity of operations across programs.
This position functions as a flexible leadership resource and is expected to provide coverage for Director, Supervisor, and Case Planner responsibilities as needed to maintain program stability, compliance, and service delivery.

KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Provides administrative and clinical leadership support across multiple Preventive programs.
• Provides supervision to Supervisors across programs.
• Supports Directors in ensuring program compliance with ACS/OCFS mandates.
• Provides coverage for Director, Supervisor, and Case Planner roles as needed.
• Reviews documentation and FASPs to ensure quality and compliance.
• Supports staff development, coaching, and performance management.
• Participates in intake, case conferences, and risk management processes.
• Tracks program performance and supports operational planning.
• Collaborates with ACS and other stakeholders.
• Provides direct service as needed.

EDUCATION:
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy or related field.
• NYS License (e.g., LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT, or LCSW)

EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 3 years in child welfare/preventive services and supervisory experience required.

COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Knowledge of Microsoft office required
• Knowledge and experience with the Connections system preferred

VISUAL AND MANUAL DEXIERITY:
• Limited applications of manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL EFFORT:
• To perform the essential functions of this job the candidate must be able to travel within New York City carrying equipment such as a notebook, forms, laptop, mobile hotspot and cell phone weighing up to approximately 10 pounds
• Risks/hazards associated with the position are those which may be encountered travelling around New York City and interfacing with clients experiencing an acute mental health crisis or serious emotional disturbance
• Travel in the community and home-based work.
• Position is currently hybrid but can become 100% in person based on program need.
