Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Manages departmental databases, college systems, external evaluation tools utilized by the School of Nursing
Collects data from primary or secondary sources for entering into School of Nursing database and associated systems.
Enters program data into systems and spreadsheets for programmatic use, accreditation compliance, and decision making.
Maintains the accuracy and integrity of program data in compliance with accreditation standards.
Analyzes gathered data on a regular basis for program evaluation in conjunction with School of Nursing leadership.
Assists in the creation of presentations and communication materials to key stakeholders, including accreditation reports, executive summaries, and grant documents.
Assists with ensuring student and faculty compliance and on-boarding as required by the clinical agencies through data compilation and analysis.
Maintains and actively utilizes the nursing database for student management and addressing student inquiries, including but not limited to textbooks, digital tools, and Brightspace.
Provides training, support, and technical assistance to internal and external partners.
Maintains and submits associated and assigned reports as needed.
Assists with walk-in students and answers student inquires as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING

Associate’s degree in a related field
Significant related experience may substitute for education.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
Demonstrated experience with software programming, report generation, developing databases, data entry.
Demonstrated experience in data analysis, interpretation, and compilation for reporting.
Demonstrated experience making sound decisions that affect a work unit or team.
Demonstrated experience in a role requiring diverse problem-solving methods in a variety of situations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Possess strong organizational and time-management skills.
Possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to foster a team environment and work collaboratively.

Possess basic knowledge of fundamental administrative support concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations as it pertains to the departmental focus.
